Vicki Jo Bishop passed away on February 25, 2022 after a multi-year battle with metastatic breast cancer.
She was surrounded by family and passed peacefully at home. The memorial service was a family service as she wished.
Thank you all for reading, for your support, and for caring for each other. Please keep the fight against cancer going.
We will leave her blog online for the time being.
I am sad to read this. Vicki was tough, smart as heck and I loved her creative choice of songs to describe the "mood". I met her on bc.org and she gave me a lot of hope. Rest in Peace, Vicki. Some day I will meet you in heaven.

Karma. Vicki was decisively undermining coworkers by her bad disruptive behavior. She would spy on coworkers conversations then reveal these in a bad light to her manager friend. Vicki would not follow directions and undermine others work and cause massive disruption among coworkers . It became so bad Vicki’s bad behavior was reported to the agencies ombudsman to resolve. Vicki had a very small workload with just one project while.others successfully carried 10 or more projects, Vicki would waste technical development people time by calling meeting on how to bake a cake. Vickie would take walks outside of the office with her boss friend versus attending a going away gatherings for talented employees leaving the agency to escape the toxic and abusive environment Vicki and her manager created. Vicki would get promoted and raises based on her relationship with her manager. Vicki was actually the last person who should be getting a raise or promotion as her performance was so bad and her being so disruptive. A survey was completed showing promotions and raises were distributed based on relationships versus merit and accomplishments. This was exemplified with Vickie’s receipt of promotions and raises she did not earn. The rightful recipients never received these promotions and raises they many times over earned and were passed over resulting in many leaving the agency.
ReplyDeleteWTF is wrong with you?! You seriously took time out of your day to dance on the grave of a prior coworker over petty professional disagreements?! Get a therapist. This is really childish. Not to mention painful for the family. Grow up!
DeleteI hope you find peace as your post screams of your jealousy, insecurity, and obsession with my mom. I won't pretend that she was perfect, because there is no such thing in humans, but to many people, she was remarkable. And remember "He that is without sin among you, let him be the first to cast a stone at her" John 8:7
DeleteDear anonymous. It's been a year. I hope you have recovered from your hatred of my sister and can now look at her as we did. If you can't, then get over yourself, get some much needed therapy and move on. Life is too short.
